Duties
1. To support and manage of a team of up to 20 colleagues and to provide our store and customer network with a first-class service.
2. This Role will suit someone with the ability and aspiration to develop and progress to the next level of Shift Manager and should have a broad Knowledge of the operation as well as good people skills and is a strong Team Player.
3. Within this opportunity and the role, we are seeking Someone who will:
Support a Culture of Care driving improvements in Health and Safety and will hold regular meetings with their team to discuss and improve safety.
To track and ensure operational targets are met on a daily/weekly and monthly basis.
Proactively motivate teams by providing guidance and encouragement
Ensure management presence is on the floor and that they are effective in supporting and driving performance through process and that colleagues are working as trained.
Proactively encourage a positive and constructive relationship on site with the union and union representatives.
Increase and improve communication with stores.
Ensure that we comply with Customer Processes for Management, Operations, Systems and Admin.
4. Proactively engage with all on-site teams through effective communication and handovers
5. Undertake such duties as may be reasonably required for the effective operation of the function and department.
Skills - Required
6. Management of health and safety
7. Knowledge of People Process
8. Knowledge of Red Prairie and CPM
9. Experience of Supervising / Managing a team
10. Ability to work on your own initiative, working to strict deadlines.
11. A good communicator both verbal and written.
12. Excellent PC skills
13. A flexible team-based approach
