EQUANS are recruiting for an Multiskilled Operative to be based in Belfast. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, van and fuel card and benefits package.
General Overview
To provide a multi-skilled trade service, working on the allocated site. Assist the Site team with day to day running of the project. To carry out the duties as a Multi Skilled /Joiner in accordance with Statutory Regulations, Company policies and Procedures. To assist the Site Manager in producing a quality product within the contract period and in a safe manner. Adhere to all requirements set by SHEQ team, policy and strategy.
Key Accountabilities
1. Carry out various multi trade tasks to a high standard as instructed by the company including:
2. Grounds work
3. Carpentry/Joinery
4. Roof Works
5. Painting and Decorating
6. Assist with the adherence to the Company quality standards including:
7. Compliance with specification
8. Compliance with materials / workmanship schedules
9. Maintain and care for all company tools
10. To use appropriate safety equipment
11. To wear appropriate clothing / uniform
12. To ensure areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the day
13. Liaison with the client, consultants, contract administrator, head office etc
14. Material co-ordination
15. Ensure accurate / timely completion of any relevant site-based documentation
16. Ensuring that the site is kept clean and tidy at all times
17. To be responsible for and take due care of the company van in accordance with the company car policy
18. To be responsible for holding keys for communal entrances, meter cupboards and allow access where appropriate
19. Load and unload deliveries
20. Any other reasonable management request

Who are we looking for?
Qualifications or Required Experience:
Essential:
29. Previous trades experience
30. Valid CSR card
31. Up to date relevant industry related knowledge
32. Understanding of social housing/ local government
33. Up to date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
34. Current and Valid Full & Clean UK driving licence
