SEN Teacher - One-to-One Support That Makes a Difference

Location:Mablethorpe and surrounding areas
Rate:£30-£35 per hour (PAYE, case dependent)
Schedule:Monday to Friday | Term-Time Only
Hours:9:00 AM - 4:30 PM (flexible working available)
Focus:Individualised teaching for students with SEN, SEMH, SEMD, and medical needs
The Role
Looking to step away from the traditional classroom and into a role where your teaching has a direct, measurable impact? We're seeking a committed SEN Teacher to work one-to-one with students who need a tailored approach to learning. You'll be supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs-helping them build confidence, develop essential skills, and re-engage with education in a meaningful way.
What You'll Be Doing
* Deliver personalised lessons in core subjects, adapted to each student's learning style
* Build strong, trusting relationships with students and their families
* Create a calm, structured environment that supports both academic and emotional development
* Encourage independence, resilience, and a positive attitude toward learning
* Promote inclusive values and model positive behaviour
What You'll Need
* QTS or equivalent (PGCE)
* At least 2 years of teaching experience
* Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and Science (UK curriculum)
* Experience across Key Stages 1-4
* A background in supporting students with SEN, SEMH, or complex needs
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
* Legal right to work in the UK
* A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection
