An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Court of Protection Paralegal to join a well-established and supportive legal practice. This role offers the chance to work within a specialist team, providing essential support to solicitors and making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting solicitors with Court of Protection matters, particularly property and financial affairs.
* Preparing and drafting applications, correspondence, and legal documents.
* Managing deputyship files and liaising with the Office of the Public Guardian, local authorities, and other professionals.
* Conducting legal research and preparing case notes.
* Providing empathetic and professional support to clients and their families.
* Ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
About You
1. Previous experience in Court of Protection or Private Client law is desirable but not essential.
2. Law degree, LPC, SQE, or equivalent qualification preferred.
3. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to deal with sensitive matters in a compassionate and professional manner.
