In 2025, the CTS Microbiology Laboratory has firmly established a strong presence in the market and we are now seeking to employ an exceptional candidate who wishes to expand their career by joining Construction Testing Solutions at a very exciting time within our growth plans.
Role
The successful candidate will be supporting the night-time logistics operations at CTS. Reporting to the Team Leader this role will include but not be limited to the following daily tasks:
* Check in with all drivers prior to starting as well as maintaining contact during the evening
* Ensure vehicle checks are completed daily and escalate reports of vehicle defects
* Schedule vehicle maintenance and servicing bookings
* Provide point of contact for drivers and troubleshoot issues encountered during the shift
* Arrange & schedule sample container deliveries
* Review and update the collection/delivery schedules to support client requests
* Upload collection & delivery requests onto the Labtrac software application
* Provide emergency driving cover (completing the collection routes as/when required)
* Perform other reasonable duties to support the logistics operations.
Qualifications & Experience
* Very good oral, written and numeracy skills
* GCSE grade C or above in maths and English language (or equivalent)
* Highly Computer literate (MS Office Applications)
* Previous work experience within logistics role would be advantageous but not essential
