We're looking for a Contract Senior Marine Vessel Engineer (HVAC) to provide expert technical leadership across critical onboard systems-ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and efficiency where it matters most.
What You'll Do
The Senior Marine Vessel Engineer (HVAC) will lead HVAC & refrigeration system performance across complex marine platforms
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve high-level system failures with precision
* Act as the technical authority for design reviews, system upgrades, and modifications
* Drive improvement in energy efficiency, reliability, and vessel habitability
* Lead HVAC activities during dry dock, refits, and commissioning
Your Expertise
* Proven experience across:
o Chilled water & DX systems
o AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems
o Marine refrigeration & air quality control
* Strong track record in fault finding, optimisation, and system upgrades
* Deep understanding of SOLAS, MARPOL, and Class compliance
* Skilled in managing maintenance strategies and performance analytics

What You Bring
* Marine/Mechanical Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
