This is an ideal opportunity for someone who understands both the technical and commercial aspects of the manufacturing process and thrives in a fast-paced environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage and grow a portfolio of engineering and manufacturing clients\nOwn the full sales cycle – from business development to project delivery\nInterpret technical drawings and communicate client requirements internally\nAct as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent service and communication\nIdentify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across existing accounts\nCollaborate with Project Engineers and Operations to ensure smooth order progression\nMaintain accurate activity and pipeline data using CRM tools\nConduct client site visits to build and maintain strong relationships\nDevelop tailored growth strategies for each account\nRequirements\n\nEssential:\n\nProven experience in sales or account management, ideally in manufacturing or engineering\nComfortable reading and understanding technical drawings and manufacturing processes\nStrong communication skills and ability to liaise between technical and commercial teams\nBased in Manchester and able to work from the office several days per week\nDesirable:\n\nInterest or background in mechanical engineering, 3D modelling, or CNC machining\nExperience in a high-growth or start-up environment\nProficiency in CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)\nConfidence in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities\nTo apply, please send a copy of your CV and a covering letter to or, alternatively, submit your application via the link below.\n\nJasmine Williams – Commercial Manager\n\nAt Aspion, our core values have been built around the importance of transparency, innovation, passion and collaboration.
