SEN Teaching Assistant Roles Include: SEN Teaching Assistant SEND Teaching Assistant SEMH Teaching Assistant Autism Support Assistant ASC Teaching Assistant PMLD Support Assistant SLD Teaching Assistant Behaviour Support Assistant Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Classroom Support Assistant 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Primary SEN TA Secondary SEN TA We Welcome Experience In: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) SEMH Speech & Language Needs Challenging Behaviour Trauma-Informed Practice Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) Complex Medical Needs ADHD & Emotional RegulationWe also welcome candidates with backgrounds in: Care work Residential support Youth work Sports coaching Nursery work Mental health support Support work and community care The RoleAssignments are available across a variety of specialist schools and provisions including: Day-to-day supply cover Short-term assignments Long-term support roles Maternity cover Temp-to-perm opportunities Permanent SEN Teaching Assistant positionsYou may work: 1:1 with pupils In small intervention groups Supporting classroom learning Assisting pupils with communication, emotional regulation and independenceEvery day offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Relevant experience supporting children or young people OR relevant experience in UK schools A calm, patient and adaptable approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Passion for supporting children with additional needs Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff Commitment to safeguarding and inclusionTeaching Assistant qualifications are beneficial but not essential for all positions.
