We're currently supporting a leading civil engineering contractor on a major infrastructure scheme in West Yorkshire, and are looking to engage an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor on a contract basis.
This is a site-based role on a complex, live project, offering the opportunity to take ownership of key work packages within a collaborative delivery environment.
The Role
As a Senior QS, you'll play a key role within the commercial team, taking responsibility for the commercial management of sections of work within a cost reimbursable / NEC contract environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
Full commercial ownership of assigned packages
Cost reporting, forecasting and CVRs
Management and assessment of Compensation Events
Subcontract procurement, administration and final accounts
Ensuring compliance with contract processes and cost mechanisms
Working closely with operational teams to drive commercial performance
Requirements
Proven experience operating at Senior QS level within civil engineering or infrastructure
Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts (cost reimbursable / target cost essential)
Experience managing packages independently on live projects
Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
