TeacherActive are proud to be working with Primary schools in North Shields who are seeking qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistants. As a qualified Teaching Assistant, you are to provide specialist support to pupils learning, behaviour and development including those with special educational needs. We offer day to day, long-term and permanent roles. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled Learning Support Assistant looking to inspire young learners. The successful candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm supporting students and teachers. Your responsibilities may include classroom preparation, pupil support, overseeing pupils with special educational needs, teacher support and classroom management.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist support to pupils learning, behaviour and development, including those with special educational needs
* Assist with classroom preparation and pupil support
* Support teachers and assist with classroom management
Qualifications
* NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools / Level 2 qualifications also welcome
* Great ability to interact with pupils and keep them engaged
* At least 6 months of prior experience working in schools
