We’re looking for an Vape Cessation Lead to join ourThriving Nottingham service. Thriving Nottingham is designed to support individuals and families to improve their health behaviours and make sustainable changes to their lifestyle. The programme consists of 7 key services; Stop smoking support Tailored physical activity programmes Adult weight management Child/family weight management Health Coaching Vape Cessation for Children and Young People Digital Inclusion regarding the NHS App Like all roles at Thrive Tribe, you can expect your time at work to be fun, varied and challenging. A typical day as an Vape Cessation Lead might include : Working with children and young people to co-design our Vape Cessation offer Liasing with our parnters at Change Grow Live (The Place). Who will deliver a prevention and education offer across Schools Promoting the offer across Schools and APs across city. Working with our evaluation team to demonstrate impact and learning from this pilot programme. The role will form part of the Thriving Nottingham Leadership team, and require close working with our Stop Smoking Lead, and other colleagues. Working with colleagues across all of our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments – we’re always looking to share knowledge and resources! Ensuring due consideration is given to our Safeguarding, Information Governance and Clinical Governance policies and procedures. To ensure safer recruitment and safeguarding for all we adopt pre-employment processes, including DBS checks. To work with us in this role you will need to have some experience of working with Children and Young people, it is a bonus if you have a Nicotne Cessation background ! However, we hire based on attitude over traditional skills and experience so if you feel you are right for the job we would love to hear from you!
