The Company
A privately owned, European manufacturer of B2B technology solutions used in food production; a company that’s already built a strong presence in the UK but has bold ambitions to grow further and wider.
The company wants to build upon its success in the UK and with strong future growth aspirations, they are looking to appoint an experienced, dynamic Key Account Manager who can not only further develop and grow existing account relationships but also work successfully with RSM colleagues across the country to identify and unlock new opportunities.
You will build strong and trusted multi-level relationships within key account customers, establishing yourself as a trusted go-to partner and alongside RSM colleagues, positively promote the full proposition, from machinery to service and after sales.
Job responsibilities
* Lead business planning and management of the key account customer portfolio.
* Establish strong working relationships with key account customers, building loyalty, longevity and uncovering incremental opportunities.
* Successfully engage stakeholders throughout key account customer organisations.
* Work in tandem with RSM colleagues to unlock new opportunities in key accounts.
* Act as a brand ambassador across key accounts; building brand awareness and understanding.
Requirements
* Experience and strong track record of managing key account relationships.
* Background of solution selling B2B technology solutions into process industries (ideally food).
* Adept at working alongside internal colleagues (sales, technical and service) to unlock opportunities.
* Strong background of building enduring relationships with multiple customer stakeholders.
* A background in engineering would be beneficial.
* Driven by commercial success and customer satisfaction.
* Primarily field based with extensive travel across the UK. Regular visits to UK HQ.
