Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Southport
Salary: £430-£450 per week
Working Days: Monday to Friday (long-term)
Connex Education is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and compassionate teaching assistant to support a child on a 1:1 basis. The role will require a teaching assistant with experience supporting children with special educational needs.

About the role:
As a Key Stage 2 teaching assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support to a child with special educational needs. The role requires a consistent, reliable, and adaptable TA who can contribute to building a positive school environment. Relevant classroom experience supporting children with SEN is essential for this role.

Qualifications and requirements:
* Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable.
* A minimum if two years working in SEN is desirable.
* Experience supporting children with SEN is essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to adapt to different learning needs.
* It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
