What You'll Do:
* Manage ER Cases: Handle a range of employee relations matters, from absence management to performance issues.
* Support Managers: Be the go-to HR expert for 9 operational managers across marine and retail.
* Review & Improve: Help refresh and update HR policies, ensuring they're aligned with the company’s needs.
* Work Autonomously: Take charge of your caseload, tracking and monitoring absence rates, supporting performance reviews, and maintaining meticulous records.
What We're Looking For:
* Solid HR Experience: You’ve got the experience to manage end to end employee relations and performance & absence management.
* Legal Knowledge: A strong understanding of employment law and its application to real-world HR situations.
* Self-Starter: Comfortable managing your workload independently while delivering results and making a tangible impact.
* Influence & Guidance: Able to coach and guide managers at all levels, particularly those newer to HR processes.
