* Salary: £40,000- £50,000 + Monthly Commission Scheme

* Reports to: Director of Sales
* We have been asked by a leading telecom reseller to source the very best telecom sales expert to join their national sales team. The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for developing and executing a sales plan to grow the company's hosted VOIP business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B sales, as well as experience with hosted VOIP solutions.
* Essential duties and responsibilities:
o Generate new business self-generated leads from a database of warm company contacts.
o Stay on top of prospective customers' renewal dates to catch sales opportunities.
o Sell telecommunications services, including: VoIP, IP PBX and Connectivity.
o Take a consultative approach to understanding customers needs and selling the correct solution.
o Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at prospective and existing customers.
o Track and report on sales activity and performance.
o Meet or exceed sales goals.
* Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
o 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
o Proven track record of closing deals.
o Excellent communication and presentation skills.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Self-motivated and results-oriented.
