Vacancy: Conveyancing Fee Earner (Unqualified)
Location: St Helens, Merseyside
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join our client's busy Residential Conveyancing Team in St Helens. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in residential property who can manage files under supervision while delivering an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities
* Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
* Conduct title checks, prepare and review contract packs, raise and respond to enquiries, and handle exchange, completion, and post-completion work.
* Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors.
* Ensure all work complies with AML regulations, SRA requirements and lender panels.
* Keep detailed, accurate file notes and utilise the case management system effectively.
About You
* 5+ years’ experience in residential conveyancing, either running your own files or supporting a busy caseload.
* Strong understanding of the conveyancing process, legal documentation and due diligence requirements.
* CQS experience/registration preferred.
* Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
* A confident communicator with a commitment to delivering outstanding client care.
* Able to work independently with appropriate supervision and support.
* Experience dealing with leasehold, new build and/or shared ownership transactions.
* Familiarity with Land Registry portals, LMS, Lender Exchange and digital case management systems.
