HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver Location: Newtown & Surrounding Areas (Powys) Pay: £13.46 per hour Overtime Opportunities Paid Travel Time! Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm) We are looking for a motivated and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our refuse and recycling team in Newtown. This is a hands-on role combining driving and loading duties - ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a supportive team. What You'll Be Doing Safely drive and transport the refuse team across Newtown and surrounding areas. Collect refuse, recycling, and waste from residential and commercial properties. Ensure safe and effective disposal of waste and recyclables. Carry out daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks. Follow instructions from your supervisor to ensure work is completed on time. What We're Looking For HGV Class 2 Licence (essential). CPC Licence & Digital Tachograph Card. Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points. Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team. Good communication skills with colleagues and the public. Willingness to work occasional overtime or Saturdays (after bank holidays).
