Opportunity to earn a bonus Gain valuable qualifications Join a globally recognised leader in the meat processing industry as a leader In the capacity of Trainee Team Leader; you'll start by learning the basics as a General Operative, as you learn the business, at your own pace you'll move into a Senior Operative role of your choice. Finally, again when you're ready, you'll take charge of your first team. While your journey is detailed above, alongside you'll complete a level 3 ILM qualification, participating in a mix of classroom and on-the-job training. Alongside the formal training, there will be company training that is bespoke to working for us. The result is that you'll feel supported and inspired to fast-track your development. The eventual competencies of a Team Leader are as follows; Team Supervision : Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the production team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Training and Development : Provide on-the-job training to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Quality Control : Monitor the production process to ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards and comply with industry regulations. Health and Safety : Enforce health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and compliance with relevant legislation. Process Improvement : Identify areas for improvement within the production process and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity. Reporting : Maintain accurate records of production data, team performance, and any issues that arise, reporting to senior management as required. Communication : Serve as a liaison between the production team and upper management, facilitating clear and effective communication. Relevant certifications in food safety, health and safety, or meat processing (Desired). Experience: We want to meet a wide range of people, but; Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (Desired). Experience in a supervisory or leadership role (Desired).
