We are a Brick and block cutting manufacturer who supply many housebuilding companies throughout the country and we are looking for a hands on operative who has good attention to detail and is interested in learning with us.
We would require you to operate our JCB Teletruk and Linde Counterbalance forklift's to help our current forklift driver so you need experience on both along with helping with some labouring duties, so a good work ethic is a must.
General labouring / packing of finished products onto pallets to be wrapped using the pallet wrapping machine and some manual wrapping for larger products such as Chimneys.
General warehouse housekeeping e.g. keeping working areas safe, clear and clean.
Skills required:
Good interpersonal skills and reading / writing skills.
Good Initiative to ensure that all products are wrapped and kept together for each Customer / site to avoid pallets being missed.
Efficiency as we operate in a busy environment and have stringent deadlines.
Solid Forklift license with loading and unloading experience, preferably brick / block is a requirement.
This is a permanent position and we are looking to hire the right person as soon as possible.
Working Hours are Full-time.
