Join our team and play a vital role in supporting candidates on their journey to joining the British Army.
This is a full‑time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, based onsite at our Upavon, Wiltshire office. Being office‑based means you will benefit from hands‑on support, in‑person training, and the opportunity to build strong relationships with colleagues in a collaborative setting.
As part of your induction, you will attend a 1.5‑day in‑person induction at our offices in Bovington. We particularly welcome applications from people who are from Black, Asian and other ethnic minority backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls from individuals interested in joining the British Army.
- Respond to candidate enquiries via online webchat.
- Update and maintain accurate records on our internal systems.
- Provide clear information about the recruitment process and next steps.
- Escalate issues or queries when appropriate.
- Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
Essential Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience, face‑to‑face or over the phone.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong listening skills with the ability to capture information accurately.
- Flexibility to work a shift pattern between 8:15 am and 7:00 pm.
- A patient, empathetic and professional approach.
Desirable Qualifications
- Familiarity with army careers would be an advantage.
