About DIO MPP Navy, Air & DE&S (NADES) Directorate The DIO MPP NADES Directorate manages an £8.4bn portfolio of work, covering three distinct customer groups across a dispersed geographic area. This includes all capital construction work undertaken in the UK on behalf of the Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, Defence Equipment and Support as well as elements of the Defence Estates Optimisation programme. Person specification As a Project Support Officer in your day-to-day role you will find yourself undertaking the following: Supporting the delivery team members in establishing and maintaining the accurate administration and governance for their business, including hard copy and electronic filing, project intranets and the DIO Information Management system (IMS) in accordance with DIO policy and procedures. Support to the team in management of their area, including diary management, horizon scanning, arranging meetings, issuing invites and agendas, taking minutes and issuing action lists. Collate data and maintain trackers, logs and action lists for the function, both for projects and for DIO management purposes, such as training, Health & Safety and staff leave. Support the team in making travel bookings and arranging meetings, booking venues or rooms. Act as focal point for security, including enforcement of both local and MoD security culture and rules, notification of visitors to guardroom, and arrangement of site passes.
