We are looking for an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to lead delivery teams, coach stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in an agile environment. This role aligns to the Government Digital and Data Profession Capability Framework.
Key Responsibilities
* Understand when and how to employ Agile and Delivery Management techniques to get the best result.
* Coach team members, CDIO and HMRC stakeholders in Delivery Management and Agile techniques.
* Monitor and facilitate effective delivery progress.
* Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement and identify and remove blockers to delivery.
* Understand and interpret the needs of business and technical stakeholders and manage expectations successfully.
* Lead, develop and motivate multidisciplinary teams to deliver value.
* Create the right environment for teams to succeed, helping them self-organise and create a culture of learning, collaboration and transparency.
* Use a range of methodologies, mainly within an Agile environment, to monitor and forecast delivery team’s work and focus on what is most important to the delivery.
* Work within a delivery team throughout the delivery lifecycle to deliver value and change, usually within the context of wider projects and programmes.
* Coach and mentor teams and colleagues using knowledge and experience of Delivery Management or Agile.
* Be an active member of the Agile Delivery Manager community.
* Use team forming, norming and storming techniques to build self-sufficient and empowered teams.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to produce a favourable outcome.
* Align to the Government Digital and Data Profession Capability Framework (more information available via the official framework).
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience of delivering medium-large high quality digital products.
* Proven experience of Delivery Management, using Agile techniques.
* Proven experience balancing multiple priorities on large-scale, high-visibility projects.
* Challenging and removing barriers to effective delivery.
* Proven experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams.
* Proven ability to influence external partners, stakeholders and customers.
Salary and Benefits

Additional Information
We offer a generous leave allowance starting at 25 days, increasing with service up to 30 days.
