We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Failsafe Administrator within Ophthalmology at Whipps Cross Hospital. This post is a 1-year fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has good interpersonal skills and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work on the day-to-day duties of scheduling services to meet capacity and demand fluctuations. They will ensure that service requirements are met and National RTT targets are adhered to.
The successful candidate will need to be a flexible team player who can manage a varied workload to meet set targets and changing deadlines. They must be able to work within a confidential environment and adhere to Information Governance procedures.
Computer literacy is essential as the successful candidate will be expected to input, extract and compile complex information from a number of booking and patient tracking systems. Full training will be provided on CRS and Medisoft.
Main duties of the job
The Administrative Assistant works with the Failsafe Officer and other key stakeholders in managing the flow of patients through the ophthalmology service.
