We are seeking a technically skilled professional with experience in data centres or critical environments. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and controlling cooling, power, and other critical systems, performing emergency repairs, analyzing facility data, and supporting maintenance activities. Strong communication skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
Responsibilities
* Monitor and control essential systems such as cooling and power.
* Perform emergency repairs and regular inspections.
* Analyze facility data to identify trends and optimize performance.
* Develop and maintain operational procedures.
* Log activities accurately and utilize Work Notification systems.
* Support planned preventative maintenance and assist subcontractors.
* Ensure smooth handovers between shifts.
Requirements
* Minimum of 1 year experience in data centres or critical environments.
* Proficiency in fault diagnostics, BMS/PMS systems, and building services trades (UPS, Diesel Generators, HVAC).
* Relevant qualifications in mechanical and electrical engineering (e.g., City & Guilds, 18th Edition IEE registration) - desirable.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and adapt quickly.
