Job Title: Organisational Development & Culture Lead
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Organisation Development & Culture, you will lead a small but impactful OD team and act as an internal consultant, delivering innovative, evidence-based, and sustainable organisational development (OD) and culture programmes across our Trust.
You will work directly with senior leaders, operational, and corporate teams to build leadership capability, improve employee experience, and embed cultural change initiatives that enhance organisational performance and patient care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Trust-wide OD and culture transformation programmes.
2. Manage employee engagement and retention initiatives.
3. Deliver leadership and talent development interventions.
4. Facilitate complex team development and culture diagnostics.
5. Champion the NHS People Promise, staff wellbeing, and inclusivity.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Extensive specialist knowledge in OD principles, organisational culture change, leadership development, and employee engagement.
2. Experience leading complex OD and cultural transformation initiatives at a senior level.
3. Ability to influence and partner with senior leaders and Executive teams using expert consultancy skills.
4. Outstanding facilitation, coaching, and project management capabilities.
5. Collaborative, compassionate leadership style aligned with NHS values and organisational behaviours.
6. A relevant master’s qualification or equivalent experience.
7. Strong knowledge of NHS People Plan, NHS People Promise, and sector-specific culture challenges.

Additional Responsibilities:
1. Identify, create, and lead OD and Culture Programmes and interventions.
2. Provide internal OD consultancy services, offering advice, coaching, and interventions to support organisational objectives and improve morale, culture, and performance.
3. Design tailored team and individual interventions to enhance effectiveness and culture.
4. Analyze data to identify themes related to culture, leadership, and staff engagement.
5. Develop and oversee exit interview processes to inform retention strategies.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand OD priorities and represent the Trust at regional and national forums.
7. Build relationships with senior colleagues to influence and support organisational culture improvements.
