We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual who can deliver PE/Games and lead on the programme of enrichment and extracurricular activities.

Core Purpose
To delivering outstanding teaching and to inspire, encourage and empower our pupils to achieve their very best in PE and Sports.
Coach sport across the whole school.
Lead and further develop the school's established and successful clubs and Enrichment programme ensuring that activities remain engaging and truly enriching for pupils, while fostering involvement from staff and pupils.
Oversee and coordinate the school's offering to provide a diverse and exciting range of activities that inspire participation across all year groups and support pupils' personal growth and interests.
To support SLT in the implementation of all aspects of school in order to maintain the aims and ethos of the school and the Trust as a whole.

Key Accountabilities
Teach PE and coach games across all year groups and abilities, including coaching at a 1st team level in football.
Foster a positive ethos for sport that promotes both inclusivity and a healthy sense of competition.
Lead and support staff in achieving high standards of coaching, teaching, and learning across all PE and sporting activities.
Work with PE leads to establish and strengthen partnerships with local schools to enrich the school's sports offerings.
Develop sports teams to enter local, regional and national team competitions.
Organise fixtures that promote positive competition, confidence and development.
Build close working relationships with local primary schools and lead outreach.
Support the PE Leads in increasing sports participation, promotion, running events and growing partnerships.
To be proactive in engaging with community opportunities and events and the organisation of visits and sporting fixtures.
To support the planning and delivery of fixtures, alongside Year Group Leads.
Support Trust wide programmes and initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
Leadership of Enrichment and co-curricular
To coordinate and manage the annual programme of Enrichment, in-house and external clubs.
Promote the co-curricular and enrichment programmes to parents and pupils through various channels, including social media platforms, the school website and MEE.
Oversee MEE, ensuring excellent communication with pupils, parents and staff about the platform.
Liaise and communicate with staff, pupils and parents on all matters relating to the organisation of the co-curricular programme and Enrichment programme.
Manage external club providers and maintain oversight of resources, timetabling and delivery of their club or activity.
Produce termly club / Enrichment information booklets to effectively market and communicate the opportunities available to pupils.
Monitor provision through regular learning walks and pupil voice feedback to ensure quality and impact.
Lead and co-ordinate annual overview of provision working closely with SLT to ensure a wide range of activities across the curriculum and over the school year.
Ensure all activities contribute to pupil development, promoting new interests and skills.
Manage the booking and coordination of clubs using Arbor and track engagement and accessibility.
Lead and coordinate the House activity programme including the organisation of House events, House meetings, House Point certificates, badges and cup awards and lead relevant assemblies.
Attend the Personal Development Working Party and encourage collaboration across schools in the Trust.
Oversee relevant risk assessments and ensure all necessary safety precautions are in place.
Manage the enrichment budget effectively, sourcing high-quality materials and resources.
Build and maintain external partnerships with organisations, charities, and businesses.
Inspire and support staff in delivering engaging and high-quality enrichment opportunities.

To have professional regard for the ethos, policies and practices of the school in which you teach, and maintain high standards in your own attendance and punctuality
A Teaching Assistant Level 4 may be called upon to provide cover supervision for a group or for a whole class for a session/lesson, this may involve the teaching assistant contributing to the planning, preparation, assessment and reporting.
Perform any reasonable duties as requested by the Headteacher.
Continuing Professional Development
Participate in training and other learning activities to develop the competencies to effectively support children and to ensure knowledge and skills are kept up to date.
Attend team and staff meetings.
