Over the past four years, the communications and campaigns team has grown in reach, impact and ambition. With a strong media presence, a network of influential ambassadors and a fully implemented CRM system, they have built a powerful platform for change. The outgoing Head of Communications and Campaigns has played a vital role in this success and now this organisation is ready to take the next step.
As they move toward our Strategy 2030, the charity is evolving. The Campaigns team has matured into a distinct force and they are now creating the foundations for a separate Public Affairs function. This transition opens up an exciting opportunity for a new Head of Communications to lead a focused, high-performing team and shape the voice of this organisation for the future.
This charity represents a diverse community of over 21,000 members, but they know that more than 100,000 people across the UK are living with spinal cord injury. They want to reach them all. Communications will be central to how the charity equitably mobilises members, engages with its partners and overcome barriers of poverty, geography and services. Responsibilities
* Lead and shape the communications strategy to strengthen the voice and impact for people affected by spinal cord injury.
* Oversee the development of campaigns and public affairs functions in line with Strategy 2030.
* Manage a high-performing team, collaborate with partners and leverage a strong media presence and CRM system.
