Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Band 3 Administration Assistant to provide administrative support to the Executive Director of Nursing, AHP and Social Care Professionals and their deputies.
You will be expected to be flexible and work in a fast-paced directorate where the focus of the work is on patient safety and quality of care.
The post holder will have skills in all areas of administrative functions to enable them to support the senior team to include:
1. Scheduling meetings and diary management.
2. Administrative support of meetings at the discretion of the Executive Director.
3. Support with the production of reports and information.
Main duties of the job

This role involves liaising with health care professionals from within the Trust and at times outside agencies.
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and being able to work on own initiative are essential.
The successful candidate will have good keyboard skills enabling them to assist in creating, developing and maintaining reports.
Applicants will have RSA III and OCRIII/ECDL or equivalent NVQ Qualification, a good standard of Maths and English and have previous experience of carrying out general administrative procedures in an office environment. Experience of using software packages including Microsoft Word/Outlook and Excel are beneficial. Experience with the Trust Patient Information Systems (Lorenzo) would be advantageous.

Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential
4. Advanced keyboard skills: RSA/OCR III or equivalent/Advanced ECDL
5. 3 or more GCSE/O levels which must include English and Maths
6. 'A' Level/BTEC Diploma/NVQ3 Business Administration/Customer Service or equivalent experiential learning
7. OR demonstrable experience within A&C field at Advanced level
