Job Description
* Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding within the system.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
* Prepare and process payment runs in a timely manner.
* Maintain and update purchase ledger accounts.
* Assist with month-end tasks, including reporting and reconciliations.
* Handle supplier queries and ensure effective communication.
* Support the Accounting & Finance team with administrative tasks.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchase Ledger Assistant should have:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the Accounting & Finance sector.
* Knowledge of purchase ledger processes and financial systems.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
* An understanding of the property industry is advantageous.
