We’re recruiting for a dedicated and detail-focused Purchase Ledger Administrator to join a friendly, supportive team in Chesterfield. This is a permanent part-time role offering 25 hours per week, ideal for someone with strong purchase ledger experience looking for flexibility and stability. Your new role
25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based fully on-site.
1. Process and check purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies
2. Match invoices to purchase orders and ensure timely authorisation for payment
3. Accurately enter invoices into Sage 50 using correct nominal codes and descriptions
4. Handle supplier queries professionally via phone and email
5. Set up and maintain supplier accounts
6. Reconcile supplier statements monthly
What you'll need to succeed
7. Proven experience in a busy, hands-on purchase ledger role
8. Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 (desirable)
9. Confident working independently and collaboratively
10. Excellentmunication skills with a customer-focused approach
