Overview
Trainee Coding & Programmer Placement Programme. This is a training course with fees applying. We offer a money back guarantee: if after 1 year of passing formal qualifications we have not helped you secure a role, we will refund your study fees minus the cost of the exams. We aim to help you start a new career in programming even with no previous experience. The programme focuses on entry‑level programming roles with training, tutor support and mentoring to provide skills, practical knowledge and qualifications to secure a professional job, with a job guarantee (£25K-£40K) upon completion. The package can be completed flexibly to fit full-time, part-time or unemployed status, typically in a few weeks to a few months, in four steps.
What you will do / How the programme is structured
1. Step 1 - HTML and CSS Online Training (12 weeks)
The first step includes a selection of professional, industry‑recognised courses to maximise your learning and employment outcomes. HTML Essentials (6 weeks) and CSS Essentials (6 weeks) are included. Training is delivered via multimedia video tutorials, presentations and quizzes through an online portal. You will be assigned an expert tutor and a support mentor throughout training. When HTML & CSS courses are complete, you are ready to move forward.
2. Step 2 - Online Training (12 weeks)
A selection of more advanced courses to accelerate your progress: Learn the Command Line (1.5 weeks), Learn Git & GitHub (1.5 weeks), Learn JavaScript (1.5 weeks), Learn Python 3 (1.5 weeks). JavaScript forms a foundation for many online technologies; Python is versatile across industries.
3. Step 3 - Build a Portfolio Website Project (1 week)
Includes additional courses such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
4. Step 4 - Junior Programmer placement (£25K - £40k)
We work with you to secure your first role as a Junior Programmer within the stated salary range. After placement, a second training batch is released to qualify you to move into more advanced programming roles. For candidates with two or more years of coding experience, there is potential to move into higher paying roles; typical starting salaries at this level average around £45K.
