Job Description:
As a Security Officer at ZAM FM, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Conducting regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
* Monitoring surveillance equipment and inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
* Permitting entry by ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.
* Responding to alarms and investigating disturbances.
* Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
* Providing assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
* Deterring criminal activity and misconduct, and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* Proven work experience as a Security Officer or relevant position.
* Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
* Familiarity with report writing.
* Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
* Trained in First Aid
