Description:
We are looking for a Data Provisioning & Reconciliation Analyst to support the migration of HR and Payroll data from on-premise Oracle EBS R12 to Oracle Cloud HCM.
You will be working in a team supporting the main data migration from EBS to HCM. The Systems Integrator (SI) is performing the core Oracle to Oracle data migration.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the extracts performed by the SI reconcile back to the agreed scope. You will identify and resolve discrepancies between the agreed scope of migration and the files prepared by the SI for migration to HCM. You will work with the SI to resolve any load discrepancies to quickly identify remedial actions and ownership.
You will be involved in the identification, collection and conversion (into HDL format) of data entities that do not currently exist in EBS but are required for the new HCM solution. This will include structured and unstructured data sources, as well as overseeing the creation of new datasets.
The role will also establish data cleansing processes and manage business cleanse activities to ensure high-quality data is available for migration.
Key responsibilities include:
Design, build and execute effective validation, error handling and reconciliation processes
Identification of data quality issues with required datasets in both EBS and non-EBS sources
Support the collection/extraction and transformation into HDL format of all required non-EBS data sources
Manage the creation, and conversion to HDL format, of any new datasets required to support the migration
Establish and manage data cleanse processes to resolve data quality issues (including those identified by the SI)
Document non-EBS data migration and data retirement processes and procedures
To be considered for this role, you would need:
Demonstrable, recent experience in Oracle Cloud HCM projects as a Data Provisioning & Reconciliation Analyst with responsibility for delivering reconciliation processes and reports
Demonstrable, recent experience working with various data sources and technologies to achieve migration objectives
Relevant and recent experience of Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM Reports & Analytics
Advanced Excel skills
Strong understanding of Oracle EBS HR and Payroll data lifecycles so as to understand a data sets' state and relay to the business the actions required to completely cleanse a record.
Strong understanding of data migration best practices and methodologies
Appreciation of the importance of automation and repeatability in building data reconciliation solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
