We are working on behalf of a professional services client who is seeking a friendly and well‑organised Receptionist to join their Exeter office.
This is a key front‑of‑house role, ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact, takes pride in creating a welcoming environment, and can support the smooth day-to-day running of a busy office.
The Role:
* Welcoming visitors and managing incoming calls and emails
* Maintaining a professional and inviting reception area
* Coordinating day‑to‑day office facilities and liaising with contractors
* Arranging maintenance and supporting health & safety and building compliance
* Handling post, office supplies, meeting room bookings and shared spaces
* Preparing meeting rooms and supporting meetings and small events
* Providing general administrative support to the local office team
Full training will be provided. Previous reception or facilities experience is helpful but not essential.
About You:
* Professional, confident and customer‑focused
* Highly organised with good attention to detail
* Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities
* Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone
* IT confident, with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Reliable, punctual and well‑presented
* Flexible to support occasional early starts or late finishes when needed
What's on Offer:
