Conveyancing Fee-Earner
* Salary: £35,000- £70,000 (dependant on experience)
* Location: Gillingham
* Job Type: Full-time or Part-Time

Day-to-day of the role:
* Manage all aspects of the conveyancing process, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
* Conduct property searches and investigations to identify any potential issues.
* Examine and advise on title documents, contracts, and other legal documents.
* Draft and negotiate contracts and other legal documents related to property transactions.
* Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and financial requirements.
* Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed and providing clear advice.
* Liaise with estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to facilitate transactions.
* Handle the exchange of contracts and completion of transactions.
* Register property ownership with the Land Registry and deal with post-completion matters.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Solicitor, CILEX, Licensed Conveyancer or a Senior Paralegal acting at a Fee-Earner capacity.
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience in conveyancing, with a strong understanding of residential property law.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in using conveyancing software and other relevant IT systems.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
