About you Qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA accountant with substantial management experience Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management Experience working within manufacturing or similar industrial environments Strong leadership and team development skills Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel What you'll do Lead and develop the finance team, managing four direct reports to ensure high performance Oversee the preparation and timely submission of the annual budget and monthly management accounts Drive the development of the company's 5-year business plan and financial modelling Continually review and enhance internal financial controls and processes Ensure compliance with UK accounting and tax regulations, managing external audits and stakeholder relationships Manage cash flow, reporting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making Lead projects including ERP development modules, R&D tax relief submissions, and process improvements Negotiate insurance policies and oversee tender submissions, ensuring optimal commercial outcomes Provide financial guidance to non-finance managers and contribute to organisational growth initiatives For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact the VANRATH office for a confidential chat today.
