Streamline Recruitment are looking for an experienced Call Operator for our client, an industry-leading road haulier based in Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex.
This is a full-time (Monday-Friday) temporary to permanent position, £12 per hour with an immediate start.
Responsibilities:
1. Take requests from drivers and email the relevant team
2. Take data from drivers and enter into the system
3. Make outbound calls to relay information to drivers, give pin numbers, vbs numbers, request status updates, check they have notes
4. Answer all overflow calls that have timed out after 30 seconds of queuing
5. Re-route incoming calls to the relevant teams
6. Take messages and email the relevant person/team
7. Provide excellent customer service throughout all calls assisting customers to your best ability
8. Liaise with all other teams to ensure all inbound calls are dealt with timely
Requirements:
9. Must have previous customer service experience
10. Previous experience taking high volume inbound calls
11. Previous experience working within freight/logistics/haulage/transport industry would be desirable
12. Excellent communication and organisational skills
13. Computer literate
14. Able to work under pressure and deal with multiple tasks
