Main duties of the job
As a mental health practitioner in one of our teams you can expect to:
1. Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team managing a caseload of patients.
2. Undertake assessments of patients, involving their carers and family members in the patient's care and care plans.
3. Be responsible for the formulation, execution, and evaluation of care plans for a designated number of patients who may present with significant complexity, in consultation with the patient and the multi-disciplinary team.
4. Supervise Support Workers and/or students.
5. Provide advice to other members of the service and agencies on the needs of service users.

Job responsibilities
The must haves for this role:
* NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse (or equivalent HCPC registration).
* Good understanding of the relevant legislation surrounding the Mental Capacity Act / Mental Health Act.
* Ability to drive and have a car for use at work.
