Job Description: The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Warrington area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team. Hours: Shifts across a 24-hour operation, Monday to Sunday Start: From 6pm onwards, 11-hour shifts on average. Pay Rates (2 payment options): PAYE: £155 per day midweek, £173 per day on weekends Rolled up: £170 per day midweek, £190 per day on weekends Location: Warrington, WA4. Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate. The role: As part of a 24/7 operation, youll be trunking trailers for major parcel companies. Covering routes predominantly from the Northwest to Nuneaton/Rugby and Dundee etc. Average 11-hour shifts. Ongoing work with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate. Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service during interactions with customers. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E). Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. 6 months experience required Maximum of 6 penalty points on your driving licence (minor offences only). Ability to work independently and efficiently on long-haul runs. Reliable, professional, and committed to high safety standards Full understanding of WTD legislation. Excellent communication skills.
