About The Position
We are seeking a capable and proactive Financial Controller to lead financial operations and support strategic decision-making. This full-time, in-person role offers a competitive salary of circa £75,000, along with benefits including a bonus scheme (post-probation), free on-site parking, and a stocked kitchen. You will work closely with directors and stakeholders, helping shape the financial future of the business.
Who We're Looking For
You will be an experienced finance professional with at least 3 years in a Financial Controller or similar role, ideally within an SME environment. You will hold a relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or QBE), and bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and confidence in using financial software and Excel. You will thrive in a hands-on, collaborative setting and be ready to take ownership of financial strategy and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the budgeting and forecasting processes
* Deliver accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports
* Oversee cash flow, banking, VAT, and tax obligations
* Monitor costs and highlight financial trends and variances
* Develop and maintain financial dashboards and KPIs
* Ensure robust financial systems, processes, and controls
* Support Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable processes and attend shareholder meetings
