SEN LSA – Gillingham
Do you have a knack for bringing out the best in others? We’re looking for passionate and proactive SEN Learning Support Assistants to join a welcoming school in Gillingham. If you’re ready to inspire, support, and grow alongside young learners with special educational needs, this could be the perfect role for you.
Contract: Full time, ASAP Start
Salary: £95-£105 per day
Key Responsibilities:
* Support pupils with diverse SEN needs, tailoring your approach to meet individual requirements.
* Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging, accessible lessons.
* Encourage positive behaviour and help students build confidence and independence.
* Assist with learning resources, classroom organisation, and personalised education plans.
* Create a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
* Bring creativity, patience, and enthusiasm to the classroom each day.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Experience working with children or young people (education, childcare, youth work, or similar).
* A genuine interest in supporting students with SEN.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive mindset.
* Relevant qualifications (CACHE, Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Psychology, SEN training) are a bonus but not essential.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply).
