This is a fixed-contract position (26 hours per week), offering reliable monthly income while keeping you closely connected to music, education, and performance.
About Us
Anthem Music School is a lively, welcoming community where children grow in confidence through music. We're now looking for a Monton Site Manager to lead the smooth day-to-day running of our school, support and develop our teaching team, and ensure every student and family has a fantastic experience.
Your Role as Site Manager
You'll be responsible for both the operational running of Monton and the development of our teaching team.
Front of House & Family Experience
* Be the welcoming face families see when they arrive
* Ensure smooth, safe student arrivals and pickups (Student Exit Policy)
* Oversee class transitions and keep the daily schedule on track
* Handle queries with warmth and professionalism
Organisation & Administration
* Manage the school diary, reschedules, and parent communication
* Keep registers, payments, and systems up to date (training provided)
* Support term planning, concerts, and events with strong organisation
Teacher Oversight & Development
* Supervise and support the teaching team day-to-day
* Train and mentor new teachers to uphold Anthem standards
* Conduct regular lesson observations and feedback sessions
* Develop current teachers through coaching and workshops
* Lead strategies to improve student engagement and retention
Building & Safety
* Open/close the site and ensure it's always safe, tidy, and welcoming
* Carry out equipment checks and report/fix issues quickly
* Coordinate basic maintenance and improvements
Musical & Event Support
* Cover lessons lessons when needed
* Assist with rehearsals, concerts, and show days
* Contribute creative input to enhance performances and events
Optional Bonus – Marketing & Growth
If you've got experience in marketing, we'd love you to lead projects like:
* Running Instagram, Facebook & YouTube campaigns
* Managing Google Ads & email newsletters
* Designing flyers/posters and building school/community links
* Supporting referrals, loyalty offers, and visibility campaigns
Working Hours & Pay
* Monday–Friday: 4:00pm – 8:00pm
* Saturday: 9:00am – 3:00pm
* Total: 26 hours per week
Pay:
£27,300
Pro rata for 26 hours (initial contract): £18,927.96 p.a.
Who We're Looking For
Essential
* Confident playing guitar and drums (teaching experience a plus)
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Organised, reliable, and calm under pressure
* Friendly, approachable, and great with families, children, and staff
* Comfortable using IT/admin systems (training provided)
Bonus
* Driving licence and access to a car
* Piano or vocal skills
* Event/performance experience
* Background in schools, youth work, or music education
* Coaching or mentoring experience
