Ariston UK are hiring a Specification Manager, who is expected to serve as a critical point of support for the specification of high-performance commercial heating systems, while also including aspects of the domestic market.
The core objective will be to support Ariston UK's Area Sales Managers by providing expert pre-sales technical guidance on system design, product selection, product application and regulatory compliance, ensuring all solutions align with industry standards and sustainability goals.
Job requirements
* Deep technical knowledge on commercial heating systems
* Skills in design and interpretation of heating systems
* Competent in the full Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Word etc.)
* Competent in written and oral communication
* Data entry, analysis, output, and presentation skills
* Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
Job responsibilities
* Provide expert technical guidance on system design, product selection and product application.
* Develop and implement product and application presentations, as well as CPD's, which can be used to showcase our product range and share technical knowledge to both internal and external stakeholders.
* Grow and nurture our existing stakeholders, as well as targeting new opportunities, to successfully increase Ariston UK's market presence and brand reputation.
* Key contact in relation to specification within Ariston UK, both internally and externally, supporting in the project with technical advice and ability from original quotation to installation, commissioning and handover to the client.
* Awareness of competitor products and market trends, to ensure we stay ahead of the market, as well as establishing and maintaining relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
* Confidence in designing heating solutions, conducting heat loss calculations and reading schematics.
* Proficient in the use of systems and software to collate, analyse and present data with confidence, discussing the details to all stakeholders where required.
* CRM management and review in relation to Sales information.
* Product knowledge within the industry, with clear understanding of USPs and technical information in respect of boilers, heat pumps and water heaters across commercial and domestic.
* Understanding of industry legislation and ethical best practices.
* Any other reasonable tasks as assigned within the specification area of responsibility.
