Tiger Cubs Day nursery are looking for a NurseryPractitioner Apprentice to join our busy and well resourced Term Time Only DayNursery. The successful applicant will be a motivated and enthusiasticindividual with the ability to use their own initiative, willing to complete aLevel Three Qualification in Early Years Childcare. This is a term time only(40 weeks per year), working 30 hours across a 4 day work week, allowing for 1day per week for studies. We are looking for a candidate to join us ASAP.

The main duties of the role:

· Ensuring thechildren are cared for in a happy, safe, and stimulating environment.

· Working inpartnership with parents and fellow colleagues.

· Maintainingchild development and observation records.

· Following andimplementing all policies and procedures set out by the nursery.

· Ensuring thekey person approach is fully instilled in everyday practice.

All applicants will need to demonstrate an understandingof childcare and early years development and learning needs. The successfulapplicant will need to be a positive role model to colleagues, students, andvisitors to the nursery.

The successful applicant will exhibit thefollowing qualities:

· Desire topursue a career in childcare.

· Self-motivationin both their studies and workplace.

· Enthusiasm inlearning how to create a stimulating, fun, inviting, and caring learningenvironment for young children.

· Trustworthy,reliable, punctual, and committed.

· Motivated andpolite with a smart appearance.

· Ability towork as a team player.
