The Design Engineer is also required to display project engineering skills managing their time, resources and supporting the project administration.
Responsibilities
* Design and develop new products and systems.
* Support the Senior/Lead Design Engineer in the development of new products.
* Create and maintain 3D & 2D data.
* Provide technical expertise.
* Support research and benchmarking on competitor products and products which could be developed in the future by the company
* Support the research and identification of new technologies and materials.
* Coordinate with key stakeholders internal and external.
* Communicate and present development project status at department level.
* Participate in prototype builds and testing.
* Support engineering change activities.
