We've got an exciting part-time opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Holderness Adult Community Wellbeing Team, based in Hornsea and working across East Yorkshire with a flexible blend of office and home working.

We're looking for a Social Work England registered professional with solid experience and a genuine commitment to supporting adults in the community. Supervisory or mentoring experience is essential, as you'll help shape practice, support colleagues, and foster a positive, learning-focused team culture.
What you'll be doing:
1. Working within the Care Act 2014 framework
2. Carrying out person-centred assessments in community and hospital settings
3. Undertaking court work, including preparing reports, presenting evidence, and working within legal frameworks to support safeguarding and best outcomes for individuals
4. Co-producing care and support plans, and reviewing outcomes
5. Participating in the duty rota to respond to urgent and complex situations
What you'll bring:
6. A strong understanding of adult social care legislation, including the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Care Act 2014, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
7. Excellent communication and time management skills
8. Strong IT and written skills to maintain accurate records and support performance monitoring
9. A flexible, proactive approach to working under pressure
10. A full driving licence - essential due to the wide geographical area covered (mileage allowance provided)

Our team currently operates Monday to Friday, but we're actively exploring a move to seven-day working to better meet the needs of our community.
