We're looking for a proactive, solutions‑focused People Advisor to support our managers and employees across the business and help deliver a consistent, fair, and engaging People experience. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, builds strong relationships, and brings confidence and clarity on day‑to‑day HR challenges. What You'll Be Doing
* Advising on and supporting managers with performance, absence, conduct, and grievance matters.
* Leading or supporting investigations and ensuring fair, compliant processes.
* Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries and policy guidance.
* Conducting exit interviews with leavers.
* Conducting stay interviews for insight into what might keep people here or why they might be enticed to leave.
* Helping deliver a smooth onboarding experience.
* Ensuring compliance with employment law and internal policies.
* Maintaining accurate HR data.
* Supporting learning, development, and engagement initiatives.
* Working closely with HR colleagues to deliver a seamless People service.
What You'll Bring
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
* Experience in an HR generalist or advisory role.
* A desire to broaden your ER knowledge.
* Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict‑resolution skills.
* A proactive, pragmatic approach with strong attention to detail.
* Confidence working with HR systems and analysing data.
* A collaborative mindset and a commitment to high‑quality service.
Other Key Information
* You'll work closely with your People team colleagues, reporting into our People Business Partner.
* You'll be supporting our 5 divisions, which include locations at Brentwood, Stoke Gifford (near Bristol), Tamworth, Leeds and Addlestone.
* You'll be expected to travel to all divisions on either a regular or as needs be basis to support our People Business Partner and Head of People with proactively partnering our operational teams.
* We operate a hybrid model with our Agile Working Policy including 1 day a week from home and ability to flex start and finish times to accommodate how you like to balance work with your personal life.
