Are you a friendly, enthusiastic, and experienced veterinary receptionist with a passion for leadership and outstanding client care? We’re looking for a Head Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated Small Animal team at Cliffe Veterinary Group.
In this full‑time role, you’ll lead our reception team, ensuring the highest standard of service is delivered to our clients and their pets. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors, setting the tone for a welcoming and professional experience. From managing appointment bookings and handling client queries to processing payments and dispensing medication, you’ll play a vital part in the smooth running of our busy practice.
Responsibilities
* Supporting, managing, and motivating the reception team
* Handling account queries and outstanding debts
* Assisting with administrative tasks as directed by the Practice Manager, Clinical Director, or Head Nurse
Requirements
* Previous experience in a veterinary reception environment
* Proven leadership skills and a proactive, team‑oriented approach
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A genuine passion for animal care and customer service
* A full UK driving licence (travel between sites is required)
Working Hours
* 40 hours per week over 5 days
* Includes a minimum of one Saturday morning per month (with time off in lieu)
