Responsibilities
* Timely and accurate raising of customer invoices, supporting purchase order processing and ensuring accurate receipting and record keeping.
* Effective day‑to‑day management of the finance department, supporting operational finance activities including the preparation and delivery of financial weeklies, reconciliation of profit and loss, payroll reporting support and query resolution.
Typical Day
* Invoicing, Revenue & Query Management: Raise accurate customer invoices with full supporting documentation, complete revenue reconciliations, and resolve Accounts Payable/Receivable, parked and blocked invoice queries.
* Reporting & Reconciliation: Support weekly and month‑end finance reporting, reconcile accounts to SAP, and produce KPI and statistical data for assigned contracts.
* Financial Accounting & Controls: Prepare accruals and prepayments, support invoicing requests, and ensure P&L accuracy through robust financial processes.
Qualifications
* Experience supporting site, contract and customer financial reporting, including accurate weekly flash and monthly P&L reports reviewed against budget or forecast.
* Strong understanding of financial policies, procedures and purchase order processes, with high professional integrity and the ability to meet reporting deadlines.
* Good commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail, analytical skills and a willingness to build operational knowledge to support business performance.
* Confident IT user with intermediate Excel skills and experience using finance systems; studying towards a professional accountancy qualification or a clear desire to do so.

Working Hours and Flexibility
