As a Specialist, People Advisor – Business Performance, you’ll play a key role in delivering our progressive people agenda across shared service functions including Finance, IT, PMO, and People & Sustainability.

What You’ll Be Doing
1. Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees, providing expert HR advice and coaching.
2. Support employee relations, including case management, absence, and performance issues.
3. Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment and selection processes.
4. Contribute to organisational design, talent planning, and succession strategies.
5. Lead or support initiatives such as Pulse Surveys, learning and development rollouts, and reward processes.
6. Analyse HR data to identify trends and support strategic decision-making.
7. Collaborate with People Partners and Business Leaders to implement people-focused solutions.
8. Champion inclusive practices and employee wellbeing across your business areas.

What You’ll Bring
9. Proven HR generalist experience with strong employee relations knowledge.
10. Confidence working independently with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
11. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
12. Strong analytical mindset with experience using HRIS and Excel for reporting.
13. A proactive, pragmatic approach and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
14. Passion for continuous improvement and a collaborative team spirit.

McLaren Racing is based at the iconic McLaren Technology Centre (MTC) near Woking. Here at McLaren, we offer hybrid working with 3 days a week based in the MTC.
Our state of the art, sustainable campus offers many facilities including a gym, restaurant and indoor and outdoor break-out areas, as well as direct access to park and common land. The MTC is connected to Woking mainline station via regular shuttle buses, from which London Waterloo is a 30 minute train ride.
